Sorry Mark, I didn't notice we were talking only about synthetic ruby. I have only used natural ruby -along with emerald, diamond, gold and a special quartz found in a Greek cave- in an orgonite pendant made for prosperity. And it worked!
Generally, I have never used synthetic crystals but I assume they are nothing like the real thing.
